saw you at rams head , annapolis..they say you never forget the first time and i agree..you were terrific..i was hoping to hear "misery" or "i'd rather be blind" but what i heard was amazing..heck, that gives me something to look forward to..i'll catch you next time around.....

I finally saw you for the first time at Black Eyed Sally's (Hartford) on 02-28-14, and I can't believe it took me this long even though I already owned everything you've put out! My wife Karen & I were the last ones to talk to you that night, and you were extremely gracious. You far exceeded my expectations in your live show, and they were already pretty high.
I told you something that night which came to me while waiting to talk to you and I'll repeat it here:
I don't know where we come from, and I don't know what happens to us after we're gone, but I'm just glad that you're here, now.
You are a gift that should be cherished by more people.
